Listening
I can understand the main ideas expressed in standard language on familiar topics that I encounter at work, school, in my free time, etc. I can understand the meaning of many radio and television programs on current events or topics related to my personal or professional interests, provided they are spoken relatively slowly and clearly.

Reading
I can understand texts that contain vocabulary frequently used in everyday life or related to my work. I can understand descriptions of events, feelings, and wishes in personal letters.

Oral interaction
I can handle most situations that may arise when traveling in an area where the language is spoken. I can participate in conversations without preparation on topics that are familiar to me, that I am interested in, or that relate to everyday life (e.g., family, hobbies, work, travel, and current events).

Spontaneous oral expression
