Program Preparation
Client Needs Consultation and Solution Proposal – We listen to your requirements and needs, suggest possible solutions, and recommend the most suitable option.
Placement Testing – To ensure an effective start, we recommend placement testing for learners who are not complete beginners. You can take our online test, a written test at the school’s registration office, or choose another form of testing after consultation.
Program Process
Needs Analysis – Usually conducted through a teacher-student interview during the first lesson. The results are summarized in a Needs Analysis document, which allows us to approach the learner’s needs comprehensively, including their language learning history, goals, and specific learning requirements. Based on this, we prepare the course content.
Setting Learning Goals and Study Plan – In the first few lessons, we create a study plan for each language course based on the placement test, needs analysis, planned hours, and the client’s specific requirements. This includes choosing teaching materials, setting goals, pace, and scheduling assessments.
Teaching in Accordance with CEFR Standards – Our qualified Czech and foreign teachers provide modern, high-quality lessons in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Quality Monitoring – We continuously monitor service quality. Client feedback is collected via questionnaires, and lesson quality is observed by our academic management team.
Academic Support – Experienced and highly qualified academic management provides methodological support to teachers throughout the project.
Final Certificates – For programs with a minimum of 20 teaching hours, we provide:
Linguistic Profile – An individual assessment for employers describing the learner’s proficiency level and analyzing all four language skills (speaking, writing, reading, listening).
AKCENT International House Prague Certificate – An individual assessment for learners indicating proficiency level, number of hours completed, and course focus.
Both types of final assessment are fully aligned with CEFR standards. This provides not only an overview of your current language level but, through ALTE (The Association of Language Testers in Europe), also shows which international exam best corresponds to your proficiency. Employers can assess how your language skills can be applied in the workplace.
Organizational Support
All organizational support for learners in individual study programs is provided by the Corporate and Individual Learning Department at our school. The Course Manager coordinates all aspects of the program and communicates between the client and the school.
Additional Services
Through our agreements with suppliers, we can also assist you in purchasing teaching materials at preferential rates.
