METHODOLOGY SEMINAR FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS (ENGLISH)

We are delighted to invite you to an inspiring and practical seminar that will show you how Cambridge Exams can enrich English language teaching in primary schools – simply, playfully, and without unnecessary administrative burdens.

The seminar is intended for primary school teachers who want to:

• gain confidence and get an overview of the Cambridge exam system,
• find out how the exams motivate pupils and strengthen their language skills,
• learn specific methods for incorporating exam preparation into regular teaching,
• discover ways in which Cambridge Exams can increase the prestige and credibility of their school among parents.

Introduction to the world of Cambridge Exams and their benefits for primary schools

Overview of the basics of Cambridge Exams, reasons why it is worthwhile to include them in teaching, and benefits for students and schools. You will learn about the advantages of systematic preparation – from increasing children's motivation to building parents' trust in the school.
 

Introduction to the exam format for each level

Detailed overview of exam levels suitable for elementary school students: Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers – suitable for younger children, focused on a positive exam experience. A2 Key for Schools, B1 Preliminary for Schools, and B2 First for Schools – for older pupils focused on assessment. You will gain a clear idea of the structure of the exams and the language skills they develop.
 

Speaking activities that help students prepare for the exams
