We are not a company that only delivers teachers to its clients, but we provide a complete solution of our clients’ needs with a high added value.

We organize individual study programs in the following way:

Program preparation

Client’s needs discussion and solution suggestion - You will tell us about your requirements and needs, we will inform you about the possibilities and suggest an optimum solution for you.
Placement testing - To be able to start a program effectively, we recommend to applicants interested in lessons organized by our company who are not complete beginners to do a placement test. It is possible to use our On-line tests or do the test in writing in the registration office of our school. If you want a different form of placement testing, please contact us.

Program Development

Needs analysis - A needs analysis is usually made up of a discussion between the teacher and students and the outcome is summed up in the Needs analysis document. The information that we receive during the discussion – the history of the student’s language education, their wishes and needs concerning the language – enable us to meet the student´s needs completely. The plan of the course will then be prepared with regard to all this information.
Defining the aim of studies and plan preparation - Within the first few lessons we will prepare a study plan for every course. The plan will be based on the student´s result of the placement test, needs analysis, the planned number of lessons and first of all on student´s specific requirements and needs. It includes the choice of study materials, aims, pace of instruction and the dates of tests.
Lessons in compliance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages - Our qualified Czech and foreign teachers will prepare for you good quality lessons taught in a modern way in compliance with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Lessons records available - The student signs an attendance sheet every lesson and the teacher writes down the subject matter in the progress chart. We send a copy of each to the client regularly every month and they can thus check the progress of the program.
Quality monitoring - We regularly monitor the quality of our services during our projects. To get a feedback from our clients we use questionnaires. To monitor the quality of the lessons the academic management of AKCENT International House Prague come to observe them.
Progress testing - We regularly test students´ progress and send the results to the clients by e-mail.
Teachers support by our academic management - Experienced and highly qualified academic management provides teachers with methodology support during the course of projects.
Course completion certificates – final evaluation – final evaluation - We give a Language profile and AKCENT International House Prague certificate to students who complete a program with the minimum length of 20 lessons.
A Linguistic profile is an individual evaluation of the student for the employer. It evaluates and describes the level of the student´s knowledge and analyses all four basic language skills – writing, speaking, reading and listening.
AKCENT International House Prague certificate is an individual evaluation of the student that evaluates and describes the level of their knowledge and states the number of lessons and the type of the course the student has completed.

Both kinds of the final evaluation fully comply with the standards of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages prepared by the Council of Europe. You will learn in what phase of the language learning you are. Because the association ALTE (the Association of Language Testers in Europe) has assigned their exams to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, you can also find out which international language exam is the closest one to your level. This independent institution can also help your employer to compare your level of knowledge and find out how it can be used at work

Organizational support

Our company and individual courses department provides all the organizational support to students of our individual courses. AKCENT International House Prague appoints one of the Course Managers as the Key Account Project Manager for your study program. This person will coordinate the whole instruction organization and will communicate with you.
