Do I need to have any teaching experience?
You don't have to have any experience but it helps if you have at least a little experience of teaching general English.
Do I need to be teaching a Business English course?
Some of the assignments ask you to try out techniques with a real class so you need a course which is either focused on Business English or is a Company class and could do some Business English sometimes. If you're doing the full-time course you need to have such a class in the 2 months following the course.
Do I need to have experience with Business English?
Not at all, this course is designed for teachers with little or no experience of BE teaching.
Do I have to have a teaching qualification already?
You should have a basic teaching qualification such as CELTA or Trinity cert TESOL.
Does AKCENT IH do the LCCI business certificate exam?
No, we aren't an LCCI centre. If you complete this course and assignments successfully you will get a certificate issued by IH World Organisation and you will have covered the syllabus for the LCCI exam.
